Wonder what all the construction is for on I-84 in West Hartford, CT? The highway is being widened in the median to accommodate the addition of auxillary lanes in the Eastbound and Westbound directions. Shown in the photos are subgrade prep and roadway base placement, retaining wall construction, and Geosynthetic Reinforced Soil (GRS) abutments for the new bridges over Berkshire Road.
